Tania McDermott - On The Bit Certified Bit Fitter
Tania McDermott is one of our first On The Bit Certified Bit Fitters and also received a certificate in Equine Bits and Bitting Science through Neue Schule. She is a registered coach with Equestrian Canada and has been riding and competing for 25 + years with a passion for dressage and experience in other English disciplines.
She has a retired Friesian Sport Horse named Maggie who is her first horse and is the light of her life. Together, Maggie and Tania advanced through levels learning from clinician Lee Tubman, and coach Duncan Wood. As well, she has taken part in many clinics that include Tom Dvorak, Jamie Irwin, and Megan Lane and was invited to ride in the 2019 Masterclass with Ingrid Klimke. She recently purchased her next dressage partner, a 2.5 yr old Warmblood named Darcy and is looking forward to their future together with the hope to achieve Prix St-George and Grand Prix.
