There are many theories about how to care for our precious LeMieux sheepskin saddle pads or any Sheepskin pads for that matter.  Robert LeMieux founder of LeMieux Equestrian Products recommends smearing human hair conditioner on the wool underside and putting it the washing machine on the wool cycle at 30 degrees.  The most important step, they must be air dried not tumble dried.  Simply allow to air dry.
